Russian Scientists Improve Methods of Photodynamic Therapy in Oncological Diseases

Scientist in the Institute of Biochemistry and Physiology of Plants and Microorganisms of the Russian Academy of Science, the Saratov State University and the Moscow State Academy of Fine Chemical Technology propose to use newly developed composite nanoparticles for delivery of photosensitizers to affected tissues of human body, as well to strengthen the photodynamic effect.

Russian Army to be Equipped with New Generation Weapons

On October 1st, 2011, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation communicated that the Russian defense companies were developing three multipurpose platforms for fighting and auxiliary vehicles of three types: heavy, medium and light. Meanwhile, three types of brigades are to be created in the Army: heavy, medium and light, quite as above; they will be equipped with the corresponding vehicles.
